Beesper is a hardware and software suite which allows you to easily sense and understand your environment, from wherever you are in the world.
The suite has a hierarchical structure: low power wireless programmable nodes, housing battery, sensors, network capabilities, automatically connect to efficiently route and send their data to bridge nodes, which transmit collected data, along with the GPS position, to the Henesis servers through wireless (GPRS) or wired (Ethernet) Internet.
Data are organized in a data base and processed. Information is shown to the customers on the WISnP web portal. Advanced models and prediction algorithms can be applied on collected data.

The core has been developed over the last four years and already applied at a professional level: Beepser offers the same benefits on a domestic scale.

Discover

A wireless network of Nodes collects the sensorial data and transfer them to the Bridge device. The Beepser network has a hierarchical structure: low power wireless programmable nodes, housing battery, sensors, network capabilities, automatically connect to efficiently route and send their data to the bridge node, which transmit collected data to the Henesis servers through wireless (WiFi or GPRS) or wired (Ethernet) Internet. Data are organized in a data base and processed. Information is shown to you on the Beepser web portal or in specific Beepser apps.

Based on a purposively developed network protocol over the 2.4GHz IEEE 802.15.4 standard, each node acts as a router to form an optimized tree topology. The extreme optimization at architectural, firmware, and protocol levels allows long node life (from a couple of years down to some months, depending on the specific housed sensors) and robustness.

Beesper node

The Beesper node is a low cost but high performing microcontroller-based wireless module. It hosts a number of onboard sensors and has digital and analog interfaces for third party external sensors. It has been conceived mainly for being used as measurement node or sensory hub in wireless networks for professional use (its ultra-low power design allows years-long maintenance-free indoor and outdoor missions). Onboard (optional) sensors allow to measure ambient temperature, humidity and pressure, light level, noise level, inclination and/or vibrations. Onboard cable holders allow the connection of external sensors (both digital and analog), such as CO2 sensors, power meters, and others. The Beesper node has an onboard relé to control external loads. Standard alkaline batteries or external power supply are supported. Its discrete sealed and anti-tamper enclosure make it suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
